If you’ve ever watched HBO, UFC, ESPN, or The Oscars, chances are that you’ve seen Fernando’s work. A sound technician who’s hired by the best of the best, Fernando needed a personal brand to drive his new passion: audio consulting for producers.
When we created Fernando’s brand, we wanted to achieve two things: nod to his sound career and reference his home base of Las Vegas. Seeking inspiration from desert colors (orange sunsets, green cacti, sandy landscapes), we successfully created a logo that represents Fernando.
Fernando’s brand was designed as part of a special live presentation at Full Sail University’s annual Hall of Fame conference. Students voted on various stages of the branding phases—position, build, and promote—and the week ended with a new brand and simple one-page website.
First, I positioned Fernando’s personal brand—live on stage.
And then we designed Fernando’s visual brand, along with a big reveal.
Finally, we discussed effective ways to get him in front of his ideal audience.
