I've had the honor of speaking at one of the Canada-UK Chamber of Commerce's prestigious events and have always admired their organization's cause. When the Chamber approached us for a rebrand and new site, we saw a major visual opportunity to respect the Chamber's past while looking to its future.

The Canada-UK Chamber of Commerce had more branding requirements than most clients—and with good reason. With origins dating back nearly 100 years, the Chamber wanted an evolution—not revolution—of their brand.

It was important for the brand identity to feel familiar to the Chamber's many members, which we accomplished through a tweaked color palette, slight logo update, and brand new visual system to complement existing elements.

By name, our client was a Chamber of Commerce, but in reality, their organization is much more than its title. We clarified their value into a single sentence during our kick-off brand audit consultation:

Brand sentence

Facilitating meaningful connections between business leaders in Canada and the UK since 1921.

For photography, we combed the Chamber's 250+ events from the past five years to find images that showcased the organization's welcoming nature. Paired with easy-to read copy and list of past public speakers, it's no wonder that Chamber members are happy.

With a revamped membership login section and directory, the Chamber's members are delighted by the upgraded brand and website. We capped our project with a team training call to ensure the visual elements could be maintained.

The Canada-UK Chamber of Commerce has a long history, but if you ask us, it’s just beginning. And we hope this new brand is with them for every step of its long future.
