You might be wondering: Why would someone like Desirée need a brand?

It’s a valid question: Google Desirée’s name and you’ll be greeted by hundreds of articles about her career, style, and role at the White House with President Obama.

While Desirée is no stranger to the spotlight, she wanted a brand to tell her story on her own terms. And, thanks to her trust and collaboration, we achieved just that.

With a discerning eye and unparalleled sense of style, Desirée’s brand was inspired by elite fashion labels like Commes des Garçons and Chloe. It was also important to us to show the softer side of her personality through a neutral, sophisticated color palette.

Throughout Desirée’s working history, she’s been driven by creating extraordinary experiences, particularly for women. During our kickoff brand audit consultation, we worked with Desirée to identify the common thread of success that she’s brought to her impressive career history.

Brand sentence

A businesswoman and speaker who empowers women to be fearless by being themselves.

We did a photo shoot in Desirée’s Chicago home, where she’d be comfortable and in her element. Paired with her neutral brand identity, the photos bring life to her one-page website that tells her story and speaking topics.

The personal branding process can be intimate, and when a client trusts us, incredible things happen. Thanks to Desirée’s strong sense of self, creativity, and openness, she now has an online presence that’s beautifully, unapologetically her.
