With a global reputation, the opportunity to update Lundin Mining’s brand was a big one. We needed to create a brand that nodded to Lundin Mining’s history—as well as its future.

Our top goal for Lundin Mining was rooted in function: We wanted a brand that would be useful in execution and maintenance for the company’s 10,000+ employees. Starting with the logo, we finessed and adapted the primary logomark into complementary lockups to suit different size implementations.

The color palette was of driving importance for this brand. Launching from the company’s signature red, we incorporated two different blue tones for variety. These new energizing colors provide Lundin Mining employees with more flexibility for presentations, documents, and more.

The color palette further inspired our recommendations for photography. Given that Lundin Mining sources local photographers around the world, we created a system of tinted overlays to unify the photography in execution.

We love projects that allow us to bring the brand concepts to life, and Lundin Mining’s project was no exception. From devising detailed brand standards guidelines to adapting the brand into coded templates, it’s easier than ever for Lundin Mining employees to stay on brand.

Lundin Mining is a company rooted in four key values: safety, respect, integrity, and excellence. It was an honor to create a brand identity and system that brings their true essence that to their visual identity all around the world.
