The largest interior design showroom on the West Coast came to us challenged with an organizational problem: three different brands under one roof. Through branding and a website, we helped articulate the relationships of these entities so there was less explaining to—and more shopping by—their interior designer customers.

While the main showroom is in one designated location, it was important to our client to keep all three business names—each recognized in their own right—and use visuals to signify unity between the companies.

We refreshed the outdated logo by creating a uniformed, minimal logo system between brands. By creating negative space in the logo and doing a slight text update, the brands each feel stylish and timeless, just like the designs carried in the showrooms.

Color-wise, we chose to honor the original main colors of each store, and incorporate a peach as a neutral for contrast. The combination of colors creates a true Southern California vibe.

 

As an interior design showroom that sells, sources, and creates limitless designs, describing DRC Showroom succinctly was a challenge. Here’s where we arrived for the company brand sentence:

Photography ended up playing an important role in their brand and website. By carefully planning our photo shoot, we captured a series of vignettes that showcases the variety of their constantly changing inventory and displays.

Before we worked together, the three businesses each had separate websites, and their relationship was unclear. As soon as we had a brand identity and photography, we brought all brands under one virtual roof in a new website design. We also implemented their first-ever online store, which now has 700+ items for sale.

Not only are we proud of the work accomplished together, but we genuinely respect the whole team at DRC. The owners are hard working and whip smart, now equipped with a brand that does justice to their respected businesses.
